This one is so slick, it deserves its own post, even though it's just a keyboard combo.
You know how when you need to type a new address in your browser or you need to copy the address where you are to paste somewhere (like maybe into a fur.ly), and you try to click on the address where you currently are.........and you place the cursor with a click....then you select part of the address but not all of it with a double-click.....then you go back to the cursor.....then you select a different part....then you actually succeed but by now you're clicking so fast you don't notice........and now you're annoyed.
OK - don't do that anymore.
Instead, press CONTROL-L
and you will instantly highlight everything in the address window.
This works for every browser I've tried it with......
